The last Supper

The Last Supper is what we call the last meal that Jesus ate with His disciples. During this meal, Jesus predicted that one of his disciples would hand him over.

According to the Gospels, Jesus blessed bread with this supper, broke it, and said to the disciples, “Take, eat; this is my body. ”Then he gave them a cup of wine and said,“ This is my blood. ”Jesus' words refer to the crucifixion he would undergo to atone for the sins of mankind. He said to the apostles,“ Do this in memory of me. "

Jesus was eventually betrayed with a kiss by Judas Iscariot for Thirty pieces of silver.
This happened shortly after the Last Supper and was followed by Peter's denial. Jesus was eventually arrested.

The arrest team was ridiculously large. A complete section of Roman soldiers! There will soon be a few hundred. And the Jewish leaders had also called in a bunch of rioters who came with the Romans armed with clubs. All to arrest one unarmed man!

Eventually, Jesus was taken to the Roman Pilate, governor of Judoam, and crucified on Good Friday.
