Porto Santo Stefano (Italy) 1966

March 27, 1966 - May 2, 1973

On March 27, 1966, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to a simple and poor man, Enzo Alocci, who lived in the Tuscan town of Porto Santo Stefano (Italy). He was a farmer by trade and father of 6 children. The place, located above the town, is called "la Grotta", from which one can enjoy an enchanting panorama of the Tyrrhenian coast.

Enzo received apparitions of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Gabriel over the period March 27, 1966 to May 2, 1973.

In that same year, the Madonna and Our Lord are said to have blessed the water from the spring at Porto Santo Stefano, which was found in a cave and has remained exceptionally perfumed ever since. Enzo is said to have received communion many times from the hands of the holy archangel Michael. The Virgin is said to have said: “Priests should be stricter with the faithful, because in these days the house of God is not respected. You don't go to mass with devotion.” Jesus is said to have said, "The cup is full and the time for divine justice has come."

The Blessed Virgin called herself "Queen of the World". She looked like the throne with scepter and royal robes, majestic. As Heavenly Mother, she chose Enzo Alocci to warn all people that they must return to honoring and respecting Almighty God and the laws given to us by Jesus Christ, otherwise the earth will be purified with a terrible punishment.

On September 10, 1966, Jesus appeared to him crucified with the crown of thorns and covered in blood. Enzo felt deeply moved by this. Then he heard Jesus say to him, "I give you my wounds: this is a very precious gift, but painful and one that will cause you the greatest pain and the deepest suffering. This seal of mine I have set upon you, as a sacrificial symbol for your work of atonement for the souls of sinners". As soon as the apparition disappeared, the seer found himself very weak and with bleeding hands, feet and right side: the five wounds of the passion of the Lord. In addition to the stigmata, which disappeared for certain periods, Enzo had also received various charisms and some mystical gifts.

The statue of the Virgin Mary, which is in Enzo's house, cried in the period from 3 to 7 July and on 26 and 27 July 1972. After investigation, it turned out to be real human tears. On October 16, 1972, the statue cried blood. The fluid was examined and it was found that the blood was of the human type of group A. Mr. Primo Gasbarri, Bishop of Grosseto, with a notice dated November 13, 1973, ignored the supernatural nature of the facts and decided to avoid misunderstanding and confusion about the true devotion of the faithful entrusted to my pastoral office - and without wanting to implicate Mr. Enzo Alocci:
1. priests, religious and faithful must refrain from any manifestation of public worship, both in the place called "the cave" and in the house of Mr. Alocci;
2. they are not allowed to go to the places just mentioned or in procession or in prayer groups.
Enzo Alocci died on August 7, 2015.

These apparitions are not recognized by the Roman Catholic Church.
