Our Lady of the Angels 3

Guardavalle, Italy (13th c.)

The feast of Our Lady of the Angels is celebrated in Guardavalle first by the recitationof the Holy rosary, followed by a solemn Mass presided over by the pastor with all the young baptized children in the community.

Later in the day a procession with the statue of Our Lady of the Angels takes place through the streets of the parish beginning and ending with Benediction. During the procession the entire Guardavalle plays. When the statue of Our Lady of the Angels arrives at the sea, a concert of Marian songs takes place in the square of the promenade. At the end of the procession, in the sports field, a huge fireworks display and musical show takes place.

Every donation, no matter how small, is welcome, but with a donation of € 50,- or more, we will send you, in addition to the miraculous medal, a beautiful transparent pearl or a black/blue pearl rosary from Lourdes. The choice is yours. This rosary contains a drop of holy water from the source in Lourdes (shipment of the rosary together with the medal all over the world). Both are blessed.
