Our Lady of Forgetfulness, Triumph and Mercy

Guadalajara Castilla, Spain (1831)

In the afternoon of August 13, 1831 the Blessed Virgin  appeared to a French nun of  the Immaculate Conception, Sr. Patrocinio, known as the “Nun of the Wounds” because she bore the  stigmata for 61 years.

In the afternoon of the 13th, while the nun was praying  with all her sisters, Mary appeared on a throne of  clouds shining, surrounded by the songs of many  angels including St. Michael who placed an image of Our  Lady on the altar. When the abbess called the father  guardian to show the image, it disappeared. All the  sisters witnessed later the reappearance of the image  next to Sr. Patrocinio.
