Pedro     Pedro was driving down the street in a panic because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place. Looking up toward heaven, he said "Lord, take pity on me. If You find me a parking place I will go to Church every Sunday for the rest of my life and give up tequila." Miraculously, a parking place appeared. Pedro looked up again and said, "Never mind. I found one." Be thankful everyday and please, for God's sake, don't be a Pedro. The above is only a joke, but it is too true. Many people find it very difficult to be thankful. Yet, the Bible repeatedly tells us to be thankful in everything. We should be "filled with thanksgiving." (Colossians 2:7) Rather than finding something to complain about, we should find something to be thankful for. There is always something in life for which to thank God; "In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, always give thanks for everything to God the Father." (Ephesians 5:20) Thank you Lord for all that grows, Thank you for the sky's rainbows, Thank you for the stars that shine, Thank you for these friends of mine, Thank you for the moon and sun, Thank you Lord for all you've done!
