Behold a virgin shall be with child




 

Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Mat. 1: 21-23

What if Joseph had not heeded the Words that God spoke to him through the angel?

I imagine God knew that he would or he wouldn't have chosen Joseph to be the father of Jesus.

Evidently Joseph listened to what God said to him and did as he was told.

By the same token, we as children of God must listen to what He has to say to us and also heed His words just as Joseph did.

We never know what plans He may have concerning us and what He has in mind for us. If we miss out on what He has to say to us, we might possibly miss out on a wonderful blessing. Amen.
